Three years ago today the world lost one of it’s greatest ever entertainers – Mr Michael Joseph Jackson. He was an inspiration to millions, through his music, videos and humanitarian acts of goodwill. Michael was unique - an amazing vocalist, sensational dancer and great songwriter, he created work that opened the doors for many generations to follow. On stage he was pure magic – and this is where he said he felt most comfortable, in a life where off it he was often persecuted for being different. There will never be another Michael Jackson, he was as an innovator and creator who dared to live his dreams and give art a whole new expression. THRILLER LIVE pays tribute to Michael Jackson not just today, but every day with a show that is full of love and respect for his work. Whilst we cannot replicate the King of Pop on stage, we can certainly honour his memory – and our cast, band and crew all work tirelessly to recreate just a taste of Michael’s persona and talent on stage. We thank you Michael for everything, you may be gone but you are certainly not and never will be forgotten. Love Always.

Today is the end of our European tour - last show in Troyes, France. Thank you to the cast, band and crew for making it happen and all of the fans who came to watch. Thriller Live continues to rock Michael's magic at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End until March 2013 (and hopefully beyond), and our next tour destination will be Japan at the end of this September. The West End cast of @ThrillerLive meet Jennifer Batten - Michael Jackson's legendary guitarist who toured with him for 10 years. Jennifer's stage performances with Michael during songs like 'Beat It' and 'Dirty Diana' were electric, so it was inspiring for our cast to hear about her experiences on working with the King of Pop.

MOONWALK CHALLENGE
Jackson fans in Japan got the chance to take part in a Moonwalk challenge in both Tokyo and Osaka. After watching Thriller Live, wannabe moon walkers fans took turns to strut their stuff in front of a panel of Thriller Live cast members, who marked their efforts out of 10.
The Moonwalk Challenge Winners in Tokyo were:
Ginji Ito (13 years old)
Junpei Hamada (16year old)
Utaya Sakuraba (11 years old)
The winners had their picture taken with the cast on stage in the Roppongi Blue Theatre. The kids in Japan sure know how to move, check out the video below

YOUNG MICHAEL JACKSON ACADEMY
It’s week four of the Michael Jackson Academy! We took a trip down to the studio to check out the Young Michael Jacksons in training.
This week, choreographer Todd Holdsworth and Musical Director John Maher were putting the boys through their paces on their ‘ABC’ routine. The song was first was made famous by the Jackson 5 in 1970 and showcased 11 year old Michael’s incredible vocal range. ‘ABC’ is particularly challenging to perform as it incorporates a vigorous dance routine and sky-high vocals.
We were so impressed by the high standard of all 16 YMJs. The boys are incredibly focused; their enthusiasm to sing, dance and perform is infectious. It’s only been one month, and, judging by the ground they’ve covered so far, 2013’s new cast members will be set for stardom!
